A Broken Heart Cannot Be Fixed

A broken heart cannot be fixed
Can it?
A million tears will never find their way back
Into my eyes, the blues of the blue that suddenly became so pale
You walked away,
No return
Return to paradise where all the trees are burned
Burned to the ground of my soul
You walked away, you slammed the door, you said no more
No more of love? No more of care?
--No more of being caged with bars made of despair
A broken heart cannot be fixed
Why not?
Too many memories
Reminder of what it was and what I lost
Thank God!
No more of sleepless nights when you are judge and I am whore
Who had been caught and she is about to be burned
On stick and maybe tortured first
You played the judge, you played policeman, you played a man in iron mask
I did commit one crime- indeed
I made your heart beat
Fast
I gave you wings and you could fly
You saw the magic in my eyes
Did you enjoy?
You sure did, but that was just too much indeed
And I was prosecuted, found guilty, and I did burned
But my fire was high and hot
And my fire touched your heart
And my fire will always be burning
As long as your soul has longing for truth and desire and freedom
And one woman who is not afraid just to be
Whose skin is flawless and whose eyes are liquid
Maybe she was a dream
Or maybe she never existed..
